Itinerary Overview
Day 01
Burana Tower, then Orto-Tokoy Reservoir (stop along the way) and lunch in Kochkor town. After that, Song-Kul Lake. Meet the locals. Free time. Star-gazing every night. Overnight in yurts (dinner included).
Day 02
08:00 Breakfast. 08:45 Departure to Kel-Suu (5–6 hours drive). Hiking, drone video/photo. Meet locals, dinner and games. Overnight in yurts (breakfast and dinner included).
Day 03
Departure to Bokonbayevo (long drive). Eagle hunting show, hunting with Taigans, and archery. Skazka Canyon and swimming in Issyk-Kul Lake (refreshing contrast for the next day). Overnight in guesthouse or camping on the lakeside in Tosor village (breakfast included).
Day 04
Barskoon Waterfalls (Manas Bowl and Champagne Spray), Jeti-Oguz, Broken Heart Canyon. Then Kok-Zhayik Gorge (Leopard’s Trace Waterfall). Overnight in Karakol.
Day 05
Karakol – Ak-Suu village (25 min drive), then hiking to Altyn Arashan. Wild hot springs – one of the top locations in Kyrgyzstan. Overnight in Arashan hotel.
Day 06
Horse riding to Ala-Kol Lake (the highest and most beautiful lake in Kyrgyzstan) and hot springs after the ride. Overnight in Arashan.
Day 07
Descent to town and transfer to Kazakhstan, Charyn Canyon and Black Canyon. Overnight in Saty village.
Day 08
Hike to Kolsay Lake, then Kaindy Lake, and transfer to Almaty.
